The Rev. Dr. Donald J. Brenner of El Cajon, California has arrived in Wittenberg to serve from 16–30 May as the English pastor for the Wittenberg English Ministry. Pastor Brenner will conduct the Saturday evening English worship services at 6:30 at the Schlosskirche and Stadtkirche, as well as Devotional services on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. in the Corpus Christi Kapelle. During his career as a pastor, Dr. Brenner has served as Religion Instructor and Pastor to the students at Walther Lutheran High School, Chicago; and as Pastor and School Administrator for congregations with Christian schools in Illinois, Tennessee, and California. He is an Adjunct Professor at Concordia University, Irvine, California, where he created and taught training modules for Christian lay people in the areas of Church History and Evangelization, and where he teaches the course, History and Literature of the New Testament.
