I love defining processes (buisness processes or application processes), automate them and to code PoCs. Logic and creativity as well as understanding the customers/stakeholders needs is what I love. I love the following cite: <<Listen to understand, not to respond>>
I am not offering any services as freelancer or something alike. This page just supports my profiles on LinkedIn or XING so an interested employer can get a faster look on my key facts.
Besides riding my bikes, enjoying nature and time with my family, I love experimenting with new software tools and get in touch with new hardware. I also love reading fantasy books for relaxation.
There are two main reasons for my bike obsession:
I am absolutely not the kind of guy that goes to the gym even though I like to work out from time to time. But doing this with other people in big rooms just does not entice me.
Riding my bike in nature (not indoor) provides everything I need:
My interest in IT started at the age of around 10, when my father brought home our first computer (80286). I think fiddling around with bootdisks and getting local networks running in DOS helped me to understand how things work and were the base of my on-going curiosity when it comes to new technologies in hardware as well as software.
During my apprenticeship I started to learn HTML and CSS first but after knowing the basics I soon arrived at a point where I needed / wanted more than just a layout: i needed some logic elements. So I started with small PHP snippets that I found on the internet. One thing lead to another and I found myself installing a first mySQL database.
I grew older and I got in touch with other languages likes Java, C, C++ and Perl during my studies at the universities of applied sciences. For my past and current jobs I learned shell scripting, Powershell, vbscript and C# and I also got a little bit in touch with python for private use.
I still love assembling PCs for relatives or myself, even though I hardly use my PC anymore as my Laptop and Chromebook can do the same (except gaming).
