    Dr. Alrik Koppenhöfer, Managing Director & Partner of LSCN GmbH

    Alrik Koppenhöfer offers consulting services to executives and investors in the biotech industry since 2004. He is the founder of the Life Science Consulting Network and was involved in setting up several new companies. He has been working in the Life Science industry and academia for over 20 years, conducting more than 50 projects.

    He was the VP Business Development at Axaron Bioscience AG. In this role he built and led a sales and marketing team, launched two technology platform services, resolved IP issues and managed a company spin-off. In addition, he presented Axaron's CNS product portfolio to executives of Big Pharma world-wide.

    At LION bioscience AG he held key positions in business development and project management, incl. of a cloud-based solution for Thomson Scientific. He was responsible for global in-licensing and product management of third party software, databases, and the first e-learning platform for bioinformatics.

    Prior to this, he worked in The Oxford Science Park as a Healthcare Consultant for several companies and as a Scientific Project Manager for an international scientific consultancy in collaboration with Sir Roy Anderson and Neil Ferguson OBE among others of the Welcome Trust Centre for the Epidemiology of Infectious Disease, University of Oxford.

    As a Marie-Curie-Fellow Alrik Koppenhöfer earned his PhD in biochemistry at the University of Oxford and holds a degree in chemistry from Freiburg University, Germany. His working languages are German and English.
