Never been to far into online gaming but new it was pretty big. I have seen places like this in a few other spots but never went in. One time when I was in the area I poked my head in here it looked cool. But the other day I got a call from a friend telling me that they were closing and everything had to go. Tv's monitors everything. Heck the first time I stopped by to check out the closing sail they where even getting rid of the deep fryer pizza oven nacho machine fridges. Oh guess this is where I tell people that didn't know they had a full snack bar. But anyway everything had to go and you better believe I was getting in on it. Sorry to see them go but if it had to happen I'm glad they where able to try to recover a little something and I had no problems helping.

I took my 12 years son here with 5 of his friends on a Sunday morning to play virtual reality game for $20'an hour and $10 an hour for regular computer game. We came early so there was no wait. All the staff were very helpful with the kids. They made sure they know how to use the equipment and very patient on helping them out when they needed help.
Did not try the food here so I could not comment on it. I would bring some water or small snacks since there is no food court inside the mall.
Plenty of parking if you park in the back by Sears.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Skylar V.Westminster, CA1289May 20, 2017
It's a pretty good place to play video games. Tons of PC games and Xbox One games are available for you to enjoy. Most of the PC games run super smooth, but the newer ones suffer from low graphics settings and iffy frame rates. It's not too bad though. CS:GO and LoL run flawlessly while Overwatch needs to play at low settings to get a solid 60 fps.
Most of the staff is fine, but there was one guy that was rather rude to me a while back. He was so condescending and slowly turned a casual conversation into a heated debate. It basically boiled down to him saying "My concerns for what makes a good game are more important than your concerns and that's a fact." He also lied about how he knew all these things related to programming. Yeah, sure pal. If you had a lot of knowledge with computer programming then you wouldn't be working here. I don't remember what his name was, but if he acts like that again, I'll be sure to say it here. I just find it hilarious that a grown man can't accept the fact that there are people out there who have opinions that aren't the same as his. Hahaha.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - 60211484Feb 23, 2014
Hands down the best Howie's I ever been to.
The other two Howie's I went to was alright but I prefer this one. (if you are wondering where the other to it's in Mission Viejo (Main) and Moreno Valley.)
Where to begin? Hmmmm....my best friend introduced me to this place after our spontaneous trip to Santa Barbara for Mac's Fish and Chips, we came back to Grove but really didn't want to go home. So she recommended to play some zombies at Howie's; on which I didn't know there were such thing as a game shack in USA till now. I'm not a gamer but I've begin to become one after that.
Giving this place five stars but really it should be infinity cause the staff are MARVELous, friendly and funny. Games are fun, I worked my way up from Most Wanted, Tomb Raider, Need for Speed and then Black Ops one and two. Getting the hang out that one now. They have pcs too if you're looking to play sims or minecraft.
Did I mention about the hot food they have there? Chicken tenders, pizza, nachos, mozzarella sticks, pretzels, jalepenos popper (which aren't spicy to me), corn dogs and churros. All delish. Ya'll should try the chicken tenders, it's the bomb and can't go wrong with chicken. You just can't
YOU GOT TO GET THEIR OWEEY GWEY CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!!! Its delish and get them while they are fresh and warm out of the oven.
And I just realizes I ramble a tad too much. Oh well, just saying this place is THE place to go if you want to get away from home for a bit, a place where you can battle with your friends and hang out. I would like to called this my secondary home away from home.

$20 for an all day pass! Played League of Legends all day long. You can re-enter as many times as you want. I took several breaks, walked around the mall with friends then came back.
Customer service receives an A. All young cool and gamer-educated kids. They deliever your food and drinks to you.
They have an awesome virtual reality set up but it costs more. (I'll write a 2nd review after experiencing that)Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Luciano G.Corona, CA181116950Jul 24, 2018
Its hidden between the mall and the movie theater, it's cold and comfortable inside and they have plenty of monster products to drink. They have snacks and candy to eat well playing games. Theres pc, xbox 1 and vr to play you can usually pay 20 dollars for an all day pass or 18 for 3 hours. I wish they has ps4 systems, it's very annoying to have to start a brand new fortnite account just for xbox when I dont own one at home.

Brought my son here for the first time and he liked it. You have the option of playing VR, PC, or XBOX ONE systems. I got him the 1hour pass for $10, but the day pass for $25 is better. You do have to set up an account and leave a CA ID to get the controller. They also have snacks, pizza and drinks for sale. I sat and read a book while my son played ,air conditioning was nice as it was extremely hot that day we went. They have tables and chairs for hosting parties and the gamers get a comfy chair to sit in its not a big place ,but it was not crowded either for the size. The staff were very helpful and friendly we will definitely be back again.

****Don't use your Xbox live accounts here!!!****
My account was compromised both times after signing in here. Did I sign out? Yes. Did I delete my account from the device?Yes. It doesn't matter. Your information is not safe here.
Not to mention how rude the employees are. The heavier guy with glasses was the only helpful and customer oriented one there. Everyone else needs to get the pink slip.
Sad to see such a great concept go to waste by bad employees and even worse..No account safety. If we are forced to use our Live accounts to game online here, least you can do is assure safety measures are in place.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin G.Pomona, CA21Oct 5, 2016
Came here the other night with a couple of friends wanting to play left for dead 2 had to wait 5 minutes to load the game and something as simple as a LAN game became a headache. We kept trying to join the LAN server waiting 5 minutes on the loading screen just to get disconnected this happened about 5 times.
Had good memories here in the past never going back overpriced and just a bad experience.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
