Leo Winkelbauer
Leo is a multi-disciplinary designer and craftsman who is talented at creating and building solutions with attention to quality and detail. Whether developing a furniture piece, millwork solution, or product design, it is the integration of functionality, aesthetics, sustainability and durability that is the driving force behind his work. Using spatial and mechanical thinking, he thrives on finding creative answers to the diverse and sometimes complex problems at hand.
For most of his life Leo grew up in Vienna, Austria, but has also lived in England and Costa Rica, and most recently spent six years in New York City. With parents of two nationalities, he was raised bilingually in English and German, and has also studied French, Spanish and Russian.
Since arriving to the Greater Toronto Area in 2018 he has been exploring the fresh and exciting opportunities that his new home has to offer.
